Notes

• The GPX file for each version of the route is created using the web app gpx.studio.
• The Interactive maps are created from the GPX file using GPS Visualizer

To update the symbolic link to the latest version of the interactive map (URL: https://tedz.eu/uploads/RCO_2026_map.html), ssh into web server and run this command in the relevant directory (replacing second filename with that of the latest map):

ln -sf RCO_2026_DRAFT_v20260519a.html RCO_2026_map.html

The ln command creates a link to a file. The 's' switch specifies a symbolic link. The 'f' switch tells ln to overwrite an existing file/link if necessary.

To update links to GPX, HTML and PNG files:

ln -sf RCO_2026_DRAFT_v20260519a.gpx RCO_2026_map.gpx
ln -sf RCO_2026_DRAFT_v20260519a.html RCO_2026_map.html
ln -sf RCO_2026_DRAFT_v20260519a.png RCO_2026_map.png
